This was the scene after dinner last night, when both girls refused to take a bath because they needed to do their "homework." Tess was working on a new workbook about shapes, and Grace was acting as her teacher. Grace was also working on the optional "math mayhem" homework she receives each Monday. It's the only homework she ever gets, and she insists on completing it Monday night even thought it's not due until Friday. The kid loves a challenge — and besides, who doesn't love math homework that involves a dictionary?!
