  • Tonight was the annual bonfire for the preschool and kindergarten classes (the last one that we'll be invited to…sigh). We got there early, and Tess decided she would be the official "welcomer." Kindergarten has already done wonders for that child.

  • Tess may be a big kindergartner who goes off to school every day and has her very own adventures, but she still likes to be carried sometimes. And that's just fine with us.

  • Now that it's fall, Tess decided that her Gee-Gee needed a sweater. So she made him one out of pieces of fleece and Scotch tape. This was a bit tricky, since Gee-Gee has no arms, but she made it work. And now they're both very happy.
