The girls drew the faces on the pumpkins, then we all worked together to scoop them out and do the carving, and VOILA! Now we have two awesome, spooky-cute jack-o-lanterns on our front steps!

On Sunday we hiked at Wolfe's Neck State Park, probably our favorite local hike. We've hiked there countless times, but that day we decided to start off on a different trail, one we've never been down before. And we are so glad we did! On Sunday we took our traditional fall hike up Bradbury Mountain. We missed the peak colors of the changing leaves (such a rainy fall!), but it was gorgeous nonetheless. Of course, having those two vibrant cuties in the foreground makes any backdrop look beautiful!
