The other day, inspired by a book we had been reading, Grace decided to start her own animal rescue club. She got together all of her animal guidebooks, favorite animal friends, exploring tools, and fairy books (not animal related, but must be with us at all times). She even made a special sign for her door, all by herself. In case you can't decipher 6-year-old spelling, it reads: "2 people only. Brown eyes only. WAIT." I am pretty sure all of this was to include me and exclude Tess. I eventually convinced her that her club should be open to everyone, but I still love the sign.
