Navigating the hilly terrain of motherhood

Test

Gracelaughsbytree

Grace told me the other day that her baby doll, Hofia (pronounced Ho-fi-ah), didn’t know about Christmas. So I told Grace that she should explain it to her. And she said, "Christmas is when all of your family comes to your house to visit you." That’s what is important to this four-year old — not all of the fuss about Santa and presents (although Santa is good, too!). I hope that we can help her hold on to that simple truth for a long time, because there really is nothing more important than time spent with those you love. That being said, I am signing off for a few days, since many of my loved ones (and half of my blog audience!) will be here with me. I wish you peace, joy and a wonderful holiday with the people you love.

    Happy holidays from Colorado!
Love the simplicity that kids bring to Christmas. We adults clutter it up too much.

Yes, we adults definitely clutter it up too much. Happy holidays and big hugs to all three of you!
